/SW/business/SugarCRM:
SugarCRM Language Pack Installation
https://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34942 is a very useful
post.
- Choose and download a language pack to your desktop from
http://www.sugarforge.org/softwaremap/languagepacks.php
- Click on "admin" in the very top-most menu bar.
- Then click on "Module Loader" in the "Developer Tools" section
- Upload the language pack from your desktop to the SugarCRM server using
the "Module" field.
- Click on the "Install" (followed by the "Commit") button for the
language pack item that is subsequently displayed in the window below.
- The language pack should then be shown in the installed extension window
above the module upload field.
Thereafter the language is an option at login. I have found no way to
hard code a default language for a particular user (though there is a
system-wide default). I have also discovered that a userid in the current
SugarCRM, once created, can never be deleted.
